MARINE CONSERVATION PHILIPPINES — SAFEGUARDING OUR SEAS FOR TOMORROW
Most of what the ocean loses, it loses where no one is looking. That was the whole challenge of this film: take the work of a marine research and protection NGO, most of it happening metres underwater, and turn it into something that makes people who will never dive care.
FONDATION EDF — MOZAMBIQUE
Some projects you film from the outside. This wasn't one of them. We spent our days in Mozambique with the communities these projects was built for, filming their daily lives and letting them tell it in their own words. The result is less about infrastructure than about people, which is exactly what it should be.
MAREA VERDE — CLEARING PANAMA'S RIVERS
Marea Verde works where the problem is still solvable: on the rivers, catching waste before it reaches the sea. We filmed from the air and from the ground, because the story needed both. From above you understand the scale of it; standing next to the people doing the work, you understand what it costs, and why they keep going.
